Does it **** u guys off that this column is called "Oriental Orthadox" and not "Asian Orthodox"? I thought the word "oriental" was kinda dated. wat ev a

Oriental means Eastern

Asian ??? why we would be called Asian !!!

We are not Asians

The Oriental Orthodox Churches are "The Church of Alexandria (The Coptic Orthodox Church), The Antioachian Church (Syrian Orthodox Church), Armenian Orthodox Church, Ethiopean Orthodox, Indian Orthodox Church, Eritrean Orthodox Church

Well oriental can mean both eastern and asian. India is actually considered to be part of asia and this maybe a reason why we are called oriental orthodox.

but we are not Indians !!! a few only of us belong to the Indian Orthodox Church , and most of the Oriental Orthodox belong to the Church of Alexandria - the Coptic Orthodox Church .. which is in Africa ,
