You've got questions? I've probably got an answer or two.
If I don't have an answer, be prepared to at least laugh! :)

What is your favourite article of clothing? :D
(And what a great choice of pants! ;))

Hehehe...You've got some cute threads, too. Looks like we might both be shopping at Old Navy! :)
My fave article of clothing has to be my lab coat, since it keeps nasty mosquito detrus off of my "real" clothes. You have no idea what a mood-killer it is for my husband to point out that I have a dead mosquito perched on my blouse. You want West Nile with that?
Now, seriously...
My fave article of clothing has to be my New Balance trainers, or my sandals. I don't stay on my feet a lot at work, but at home I'm never still. I like for my feet to feel either bare-naked, or well-gripped.
Just as a side note, I don't like walking around the house without shoes. We have an indoor dog and kids. There's nothing worse than stepping on a Lego (or something else) when you're barefoot!! :P

Thank you Mosquito Momma. What do you consider to be the most important aspect of peace-making leadership?

For me, there's two. Tact and prayer.
Prayer plays a big role, because it does so many things! Getting God's guidance before taking any action just seems to work best.
As for tact...We are commanded to keep our words mild, and every person deserves to at least be treated with dignity and respect.
And as one secular philosopher said: "Keep your words sweet. You never know when you may have to eat them." :amen:

Thanks so true MaraPetra. Each of us is going to stumble at some point, and it as we focus our attention and deliverance on the guidance of God than we find forgiveness and a resolution of enmity. I suppose it may be said that proper tact is a prayer. Great response.

Thank you, Ciborium.
There's no doubt that we're all going to stumble occasionally. After all, we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of the kingdom of God. Therefore, I don't pray that I never make a mistake. I pray that when I do mess up, mercy will be shown.
And God knows we can all use a little mercy down here

Do you study mosquitos?
Yes. I'm classified as a cyanid taxonomist, or an identifier of a class of insects called true flies, of which mosquitoes are a part. I'm considered expert in the field of mosquitoes and disease vectoring in my area.
My ultimate goal is to obtain my entomology degree, though I've had to put that off for now in favor of church & family commitments for the moment.
Ah well...To everything, there is a season. Right now, my season is to minister, be a good wife, and to raise my children. God's blessed me in the ability to support my family in a job I truly love. I'm content where I am now, and I trust God to open the door to go back to school when that season comes.

MaraPetra.... are you a bitter rock?
Hehehe...Nah!
"Mara", as you know, is taken from the book of Ruth, which is one of my favorite Biblical stories (it's heartbreakingly beautiful in devotion on so many levels!). Yes, I was bitter when I first came to CF, so that was a pretty natural choice.
"Petra" is an allegory, and a nod, to one of my favorite Christian books, "Hinds' Feet in High Places". Part of the story consists of the main character, a deer, sucking on a pebble as she makes her way through a spiritual desert. The pebble is an allegorical allusion to God's Word...It tastes sweet. If you've never read that book, try it out. I find teens especially relate to it.
So no, I didn't name myself after Peter :)
And it beat the other name I came up with..."NaomisHind". :P
