:cool:Have any of you kind people read a book written by Our late Pope John Paul the II, entitled, "Crossing the Threshold of Hope"? I'm curious, so far it is a good read, and enlightening. God bless!

I read that book several years ago and enjoyed it very much... if I recall correctly, I wasn't even Catholic at the time. Several of my family members also enjoyed my copy.
If you enjoy the style of that book, another you might like is called 'The Case for Christ' by Lee Strobel. While this book is not Catholic, it is Christian and is told in a journalistic style. The author, then an atheist, set out to disprove that Christ was Divine, however in the process of his research, he came to believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of the Living God who lived on earth and rose again.
The book is both inspiring and helps one to develop their own 'case' for sharing the faith... it's a good apologetics book.

Also The Case for Faith and The Case for a Creator were excellent by Stroebel also.
