Prayer for each other's ministries

I can't beg you folks enough to keep praying for my ministry. Things aren't going terribly well right now and I'm trying to decide whether to keep going, restructure or just give up.

Let's remember to pray for each other's ministries every day. All of us have some kind of ministry, whether to your own children, to coworkers, to strangers.

Post your prayer requests here and we will all pray for each other. :)

WIHF, can you explain exactly what your ministry is? I find it very difficult when I don't know what I'm praying for.

I am reluctant to post here as I don't want to offend anyone, as I know my ministry falls outside anabaptist guidelines, though well within Quaker ones, but I need prayer for it anyway.

I run a small organization that gets books into the hands of children in poor and rural communities. After I moved in 2005, I didn't get things up and running again as soon as I wanted to because my job just completely exhausted me everyday. I didn't get in touch with any local food pantries about distributing books during their business hours, and now that I've been here a while, all I hear from churches and food ministries is, "We never heard of you, we don't let strangers into our ministries."

Plus, to make matters worse, we have lost touch with our partners in South Dakota because native americans move around a lot and I don't know where to send the books, or even if they still use the library.

I feel like the ministry has come to a screeching halt.

It's mostly in the teaching area. Firstly we HS, & my younger daughter is really, really bright & completly exhausting. Secondly DH & I were running a bible study (in recess at present, long story & not applicable here) & thirdly (hold on to your anabaptist hat) I very occassionally give the message in church for reasons I've posted elsewhere (can give you more detail if you want) & I am preparing one now. I really work myself into a tizz even though God really gets in my ear while I'm doing it & it is this I'd particularly like prayer for - that I represent His word truthfully & faithfully, that I will hear the word he wants me to give & that I will be undistracted by interesting forum threads (smile) while I do it. Now you see why I was reluctant to post. If it is going to cause a problem I will delete everything.
