Hello everyone
Just wanted to ask for your prayer support, as I'm going through a bit of a dip at the moment and want to hang on and not go under.
God gave me some pretty awesome revelations a few weeks ago regarding me doing something in the African country of Gabon (He hasn't told me what yet).
Anyway, I've started to get quite low this week, and quite anxious abut the immediate future (I'm starting work as a teacher in September and I keep getting nightmares about not being ready). I am praying myself, but I would really appreciate if a few others would also intercede for me if you have time. Pray for me to stay close to God and focused on listening to Him and what He would have me do.
Thank you so much,
maharg

Dear Jesus I pray that you give Maharg the strength and wisdom to press forward. I pray that you give her the understanding, intelligence, and poise as she becomes a teacher. I praise you Lord! I thank you so much for Son dying on the cross for me and countless others! Amen.

:prayer: Father, I pray for our sister Maharg, I pray that her nightmares and all fears will be cast aside in Jesus Name. I pray for a hedge of protection around her, cover her in the blood of the Lamb and pose your warring angels around her regarding starting as a teacher and her whole future, Give her the rest that only You can give for You have the plans for her life all mapped out, help her to follow where you lead with the help of Your Precious Holy Spirit.
In Jesus Name,
AMEN

Thank you folks :wave:
Do not be afraid, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD, your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
Since you are precious and honored in my sight,
and because I love you,
I will give men in exchange for you,
and people in exchange for your life.
Do not be afraid, for I am with you

That dream may be for the good, Maharg.
Some while back, I was planning a series of study days for theatre nurses. It was a bold venture as I was the only speaker and I had about 90 people coming from all over the UK.
During the weeks leading up to it, I kept having dreams that all these people were sitting in the lecture theatre waiting for me to start but I discovered I had left all my lecture notes and slides at home. There was a scene cut and having been home to collect the missing gear, I was making my way back - though a freshly ploughed, muddy field, in my smart suit and shoes. I had to struggle to walk though it, sinking deep into the mud, all the time knowing all these people, who had paind to be there, were waiting and waiting. It was almost lunchtime by the time I got there and I felt so awful!
What a relief it was when I woke up!! But the day was a wonderful success and I went on to hold many more. That dream was a constant companion as was back-ache and anxiety. But take heart - actors get this all the time and will worry more when they don't get it because they are not getting the adrenaline going which will result in the best performance!!
In other words, sweetheart - YOU DO FINE!!!!!

I think Flaglady just gave you a very good word. You are starting a new job and it's only natural to have the jitters about the unknowns you will face, as well as a bit of insecurity. It happens to all of us.
Lord, I pray that Maharg will receive an abundance of Your grace at this time. Help her to put her trust in You, O God to help her in this new job.
Give her favor, Lord with the people she will work with and for. Let all provision come to her to assist her along the way. Let this whole experience deepen her awareness of Your faithfulness and tender loving care for every aspect of her life.
Move upon family members and friends to support and encourage her as needed. Thank you, Lord for your love for her, in all of these areas. Amen

I came back here after going out with my mum and dad and hubby and I am overwhelmed with all of the lovely kind replies - thank you so much for replying and for praying.
The passage from Isaiah is very timely. God has been giving me a lot of metaphors about water - about overcoming problems in water with His help, and I think He's given me the first few verses of that passage, but not that whole passage before. The second part of the passage links up with other stuff He has been teaching me too, so thank you for posting that Lismore, and praying in agreement with it Bill. I will continue to reread this.
Thank you also for the prayers and encouragement from those of you who have recognised my anxiety linked to the new job and who have prayed for me about this and also to have strength and wisdom for this new role and for other things. Your prayers have really made a difference. My spirit is lighter and I am sensing God's nearness more than I was before.
Thank you everyone! God bless you all.
edit: I've just realised that God was also telling me about hedges of protection only yesterday too. It seems that God's been speaking through everyone here today!

You won't go under Maharg, you are strong where it matters - IN HIM! :thumbsup:
Remember that and keep letting go, trusting Jesus. I have taken time responding because as you know I am in no position to offer advice - I am reminding myself hourly to do exactly what I just told you here!
Yet when we're weak, we're strong in Him, and so I've asked for God's favour for you in the new job, and peace for you right now, including a good night full of restful dreams.
Thank you for your love and prayers this week sis.
Love to you. :hug:
