Howdy folks! How is the "ghetto" (as they say) coming together? Got the curtains hung up I see. :D

Things are coming along, slowly but surely. Yeah, took care of the curtains but I can't get these stupid shutters hung straight.

It's going well, especially since we kicked all those Baptists to the curb. :)
tulc(is thinking about changing those curtains to something a little more...Anabaptisty) ;)

Worse, each window gets a single white curtain that gets pulled to the side!!

At least, that's how they cover their windows around here.

How do they do it around where you are?

No particular manner--guess the bishop didn't set down any specs on that one;)

Huh! I grew up thinking that all amish covered their windows the same way!

Of course we don't have any of those bright yellow buggies around here either. You got those in your neck of the woods?

No, don't think I've ever seen a yellow one--only black or gray.

Just something I noticed: The Restoration Movement forum was started at end of March. Ours started at end of July.

We've already got 58 threads to their 162 and 1300 posts to their 2200.

I would guess that many of the posts would be from the "Barnraising" thread but even still our little ghetto is doing ok...

This little 'ghetto' seems to be attracting the homeless who have something in common with Annabaptist beliefs & practices. Isn't that interesting?
