So far after three weeks, my wife and I are thrilled with the order of worship and the Episcopal church in general that we are attending. When we leave the church we walk down to a local place for breakfast where we have in depth conversations about what we heard, and felt. I have been recieving communion the last two weeks, and yesterday my wife who was baptized as a baby, did it for the first time on Sunday. My prayers have been answered, God is good !!!

That is so fabulous, Uncle Bud! I think it is especially great that you two are able to talk over and reflect on the service and the experience after church. Theological reflection over bacon and eggs (free-range and organic, of course! ^_^ ).

Yeah it has been a miracle in my house. I had my doubts that this day would happen, but here it is. I mean she was always more of a Christian without being an actual Chrisitan than I ever was, so now she has made that leap.

Amazing! SHe loves the Episcopal church so far and i am grateful for the supply priest who is there. He has really got to her without even trying.

I think this all sounds great. Nothing is greater than when God brings a happiness into your life such as this. It makes my faith in him stronger. Amen.

Absolutely awesome, Uncle Bud! There is a reason you are where you are.

Funny you should ask that :)

Actually I got fed up without the church "whining" about this and that and only attend when i can nowadays. They had two services, 8 and 10 and have decided to combine, and it is at a time when I cannot make it. So i am looking for another E church in this area, and will be visiting a Lutheran church as well.

Ah, that's too bad. Hope you find a church home soon :)
