The 80s seem to be coming back lately , see many styles of clothing and music that resemble those styles.

And to think, you would have had flat hair in the 80s!
How did people spray their bangs three inches high anyway?
Angel4Truth

Yeah, do you have any Hypercolors?
I knew I was getting older when I went to a Christian bookstore, and they had The Message bible out there. This was a new version called "The Message Remix" and it said "in hypercolor." So, I picked it up, the bible with the green cover, and started touching it. It didn't change color!
At that point I figured out that hypercolor just meant that it was a bright neon green.

oh honey real converse have ALWAYS been high tops! :D
but the fake imitation converse shoes... those were awesome. cheap and horrible for your feet... but I had a few pairs and colored them and wrote on them. very 4th grade chic if I do say so myself ;)
so why'd you choose to mod the debate team?
Angel4Truth
18th August 2006, 02:18 AM
Well I was asked by a few areas several times before becoming a moderator and after much prayerful consideration was led to accept a position and moderate the debate team where I spent my first 2 years on the site primarily and many years before being a member of CF.
My husband and I both share a passion and burden for apologetics which quite frequently can be very intensive and can be quite alarming to some people sometimes - I believe it takes quite a bit of experience dealing with others because it can be a very touchy area sometimes and it can be hard to take because people are very passionate about what they believe and the debate areas are generally where people express that passion. So I believe God decided to put my experience to service in another way as well . :)

wow tough question without being a little more specific - generally I believe its to have a close relationship with God first and foremost-and to pay attention to context of what is happening vs just what is immediately seen. Always best to keep in mind the well being of others as much as possible as a whole as well as leading by example.

Great answer. If we keep our relationship with God as foremost in the example we show, we're bound to lead with love for others.

Angel 4truth huh?..sounds nice but I look at the world and see more lies than truth! More hate than love..more war and less peace. What say you?-Lennon.

Hi Lennon how are you ? To answer your questions : I made one of these talk to a moderator threads , as to what say I , I say that Jesus Christ is the Way ,the Truth and the Life , by looking to Him INSTEAD of to the world , we see Truth.
