Yes, gravy is made with roast drippings, flour, water and some kind of fat. Au jus is just the de-fatted drippings all by themselves, no flour, water or fat. :)

Hawk. We have lots of big raptores round here & they are awesome! The doves break their necks on my windows & then the cat (who is way too lazy to catch anything that's actually alive) drags them inside. Eww!
