So- are quakers part of the anabaptist deal or not? I think i've heard both sides... maybe i'm just delusional...:doh:

Nope, they are a whole different animal. Many of their beliefs are very different from anabaptist beliefs
Some Quakers don't even take Jesus's existence literally.
But they have the same commitment to peace, though.

But largely, every meeting and every quaker determine their own beliefs. They sometimes have a lot more in common with the unitarian/universalists than they do with the anabaptists.
