Just heard on Fox news that Iran is threatening to raise oil to $200.00 a barrel for oil which would roughly equate to $8.00 gallon, if US doesn't stop harrassing them about their nukes.
Would this having any bearing on this scripture?
IN Revelation, there is a scripture about not touching the oil. hmmmmmm

They have been declaring "Holy Wars" against Israel since she was reborn as a nation. :sigh:
But as the Veggie Tales video says "G-d is bigger than the boogyman, and He is watching out for you and me."

If muslims declare jihad on israel, God declares jihad on THEM.
I guess those fundy Muslims just can't wait to join Zaquari in that tropical place. ;)

Praying for Israel
btw, does not Israel have the samson option as last resort? Pray this does not have to be used. Ezekiel comes to mind during these times.

Analysis: Why the Katyushas are so hard to prevent
http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1154525801518&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FShowFull
…“The backs of pickup trucks, side rooms in one-story homes and thick brush in valleys and on ridges are the places from which Hizbullah is succeeding in firing rockets despite intensive IDF operations to stop the attacks.” …
…“On Wednesday, Hizbullah fired more than 220 rockets and on Thursday another 150, proving that despite the IDF operation, which entered its fourth week on Wednesday, it was still functioning just like it was on July 12, the day the war erupted.”…
1] How does a terrorists group like Hizbullah bring into Lebanon without the government knowing about it?
2] For what reason would a terrorists group like Hizbullah have stocked piled so many rockets.
3] Where would they have stocked piled so many rockets?
4] What other Government in the world would allow a terrorists group like Hizbullah to exist with so many rockets.
5] What other Government in the world would allow a terrorists group like Hizbullah or Palaestina to shoot rockets over there borders into another country and do nothing about it. OR Would allow another country to shoot rockets into there country? France, Germany, England, Norway, America, Australia, ?
…“A high-ranking officer explained on Thursday that some of the rockets worked on a timer and were as small and thin as lampposts, similar to the Kassam rockets launched by terrorists in the Gaza Strip”….
6) A rocket like this is design to kill “innocent” people. They hit the ground and just sit there {how long? 1hour 5 hour? a day?}. People start coming out of there homes, apartments thinking it a dud. Then it goes off sending small blabbering flying.

IN Revelation, there is a scripture about not touching the oil. hmmmmmmthere is sooo much in scripture on oil (some of it is hidden in Hebrew Idioms) Israel could come into oil soon and boy would the nations fight over that tiny sliver of land then:doh:....
I heared a synario where, should we ever have a cataclismic earth shaking disaster, and the earth shift even slightly , Israel could be the recipiant of ALL the mideast oil (that is if oil flows under ground like that and personally I dont know if it does)

Tishri, it is very interesting that you spoke of Israel getting into some oil....Hal Lindsay once predicted on his now defunct show (because the little whiny babies at TBN thought Hal was too anti-Islam) that Israel might come into some big-time oil, and this becomes the instigator for "all nations coming against Israel"
America likes Israel, but let America get really desperate for oil, and see what they will do to get it...same for canada...

Zechariah 12:2-3 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
"I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken...Then shall the LORD go forth and fight against those nations..." (Zechariah 12:9; 14:2-4)
"In the latter days...I will bring thee against MY land...My fury shall come up in My face...there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel...the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things (on) the earth, and all the men (on) the face of the earth, shall shake at My presence...(all nations) shall know I AM the LORD." (Ezekiel 38: 16-23)
Zechariah 12:6-10 In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem. The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah. In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them. And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

Kim Clement who sometimes has a good word had one about our oil dependency. Here's the link: http://www.kimclement.com/words/2006/june3006.html
If you go to his main page, he also has a word for Israel.
I read what he says, incorporate it if it makes sense to me or toss it if it doesn't. But I do file him away for later reference! :D

If Iran ups the price of oil it will soon go bankrupt itself. That's the problem. Everyone goes broke, the people at the bowsers and the companies and eventually the oil countries- if it's too expensive we won't buy it. It's happened before- hence the cheap prices of the 80's etc.

CM, we seem to have forgotten how to "do without" to get the prices down. :(
