Will there be a Literal Lake of Fire/ Hell?
where anyone's name not found written in the Book of Life will be thrown into the Lake of Fire, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth and eternal suffering and seperation from God?

(i know where i stand but am interested in hearing people's general stance on this)
this is for poll purposes, please vote and post your opinion with support

I agree with the literal/traditional view.

It's been supposed that the punishment outweighs the crime-one thing I learned from my time with the calvinists is the Holiness of God. It's not a "curve" grading regardless of how people want it to be. I would prefer an no eternal punishment view but don't see it scripturally.

I believe the Bible when it says there is a Lake of Fire.

The Bible says it- and it doesn't exactly strike me as one of those- "interpretation" passages so- I believe it word for word.

Scripturally I dont see anything else it could mean although I do wish it were otherwise, Hell was not made for us.

The bible is abundantly clear there is a literal lake of fire and eternal suffering.

Yes, of course.

I hope this new anabaptist forum will help people learn more about us and our beliefs. :)
