I was wondering if we can have design advice thread sticky, where members and designers can give advice to members who are trying to learn ?

I have started learning recently, and it would be great to get tips and advice from experienced members, and designers.

I know there is several threads with good advice somewhere, having a tough time finding them, so maybe links to those could be included in the thread.

For example,one problem I am having :
trouble with the way the doll is standing, with short sleeves it makes difficult for me to make a waist-like here:

or-how to make the design softer looking, deeper, more 3D?

 great idea....

I've started playing around with desinging latley myself....

which programm are you using...

I'm on adobe Photoshop....for making them softer I use a function called "soft-focus effect" (<- that's the direct translation from German so I don't know if it's the same name)

here's what it does:

no...I won't have the time to do it as a "job" since I'm already a petRESCUER and in real life a student plus working in a book store for 12 hours each week....

the only thing I might do is to request that dress :D I'm a LOTR fan...that's Eowyns dress she's wearing at the end :)

do you think of applying...I love that 2nd dress :)
