The greatest sin is "PRIDE"!
I have to disagree with you here. According to the Word the greatest sin is, cursing the Holy Spirit(Ghost). Pride gets in the way of the Lords will in our lives; however, so does being lazy, lack of faith, wantings of the flesh.

Unpardonable sin is against Holy spirit.
There is a sin unto death.
I Jn
5:16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he
shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death.
There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
5:17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

This re-enforces what I said. Pride is not the greatest sin; but blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is. Since it is the only sin that can not be forgiven.

Blasphemy is the greatest sin as far as offensiveness, I agree, but I think pride is the sin we are most likely to succumb to. And I think it's a pretty sure bet that pride would come before blasphemy.
So as far as sins we need to guard against, I would say pride wins. It's fairly easy to resist the others (or at least be aware of the need to resist), but most of us are unaware that pride is an issue until it gets pretty bad.
I don't think blaspheming is a temptation for most of us.

Well, if you reduce it enough, even blasphemy can be broken down further into the sin of pride. Pride was Lucifer's sin...the cause of his fall. He wanted to be his own god, he thought he was just as entitled as God, he placed himself on equal footing with God, he did not treat with reverence and respect his Creator. And isn't that what blasphemy really is?
Maybe I didn't explain myself very well, but I think it's sort of a matter of perspective.
