Adding country flag?

Are these "purchased" or did I miss something in my profile editor?

These character things are a bit confusing.

No they are not purchased. Go to your user control panel and select a country in your profile options. Your flag will show in your posts than. The only flags that are purchased are the ones the CF character can hold in its hand.
