More than that though, she makes every person feel unique and special by taking that extra moment to say something encouraging and to assure you that she really does want to know what's going on.

I voted for one of the Mods in the Poll above without hesitation. Nothing against any of the other ones - am sure they are great and the best at what they do but I dont really know them or a cople of them I dont know at all.

The one I voted for is in the areas of CF that I am in a lot and the subjects she Mods arent the easiest ones. So, thats why i voted for her.

It’s not that I haven’t been here long enough…Lol, if Holly gets to pull rank just because she’s been here longer, I’ve got some sad news – I’ve been here longer than all of you (yes, including you Holly) ^_^
No, my reason is that from August 12th-November 9th I have my final two sets of exams. They’re pretty serious with there being 6 exams each time, each one going for a little over 3 hours – they’re something I’m not looking forward to :o . If I apply before they’re over I will either fail my exams because I spend too much time on CF or I’ll neglect CF because I’m trying to do well on the exams. I’d rather not do either, but come 1pm on November 9th …^_^

My very first PM was from her when I first joined CF and she had written in my guestbook. The only reason I remember that is because she was so kind to me.
She's always kind to everyone and always has a "happy go lucky" attitude about everything. Goldenviolet and Defender77 were the only moderators I knew when I was just a normal member...I still need to get to know most of the other mods. So yeah, those are the only mods that I really know. And of course y'all know the other great mods... (Byootaful and Churchpunk86). :D

Same for me. GoldenViolet was the first one who greeted me when I came to CF and she wasn't even a moderator yet!!! When I use to be really down in depression and everything and was confused on what was going on in my life, GoldenViolet was thereand she encouraged me and was one of those who helped me get through it. It is the exact reason I voted for her, but I would have voted for all of them if I didn't mess up the poll. :D

It's been interesting this thread, I must say, because I thought most members would feel a bit ... nghghghuh towards mods because we are the ones who seem to always spell trouble when you see a PM in your inbox from us. ;)

I'm so glad that you guys can see that we're not police, we're just trying to help out with the running of the site, but also, we are trying to help reach you guys on a deeper level. I love that I can help new members feel at home, I love that I get random PM's from you guys, asking a range of things, sharing problems, asking for prayer, for advice ... in short, I feel being a mod is really helping me to grow in my faith and in other ways too, like patience and respect for others. :)
