Some of you , especially the ladies are aware and even participated in the program last night, where thousands of Jews across America gathered together in their synogoues, or if they could not , followed the live telecast from OU headquarters and joined in with thousands reciting the tehillim.

Our Mishpocha Henaynei had posted this announcement about it, but may have not been prominent to all.

During that broadcast a challenge was issued, to a 24/7 round the clock 9 Day study of Torah, leading up to Tish B'Av

Here are the details

Make Each Hour of Each of the Nine Days Meaningful.

I suggest that maybe we could meet here at set times during the day to study here together.

I will be gathering suggestions for different portions to study and would like your imput as well.

It would be great to have at each hour at least two studying together, because where two or more are gathered,.............there is torah.:)

So, who would be willing to join in this and Which hour can you devote to?

I will be making out a schedule soon. We may not be able to cover the wee hours well as most of us are in the US but I know we have some Aussies here and is there anyone from Europe?

Wish I could commit to a particular time, but with two little ones it is impossible. But I can dedicate myself to finding time throughout the day for additional prayers and torah study.

Is there no one but Henaynei and myself that can commit to one hour a day? I know many of you are on here longer than that.

Would it be easier if I set up a 3 hour span and you just try to get in there when you can?

Study Torah for one hour a day - to the merit of prayer for Israel from now until the day of Tish b'Av - this is in addition to reading the psalms...

This is a world wide effort among the Jewish community during this time of tribulation..... to seek G-d's instruction and will - to bring ourselves yet a little closer to Him by studying His word....

Tishri1
25th July 2006, 01:55 AM
Oh I can do that! I wasnt sure what you ment, any details or just study like we always do:wave:

Henaynei
25th July 2006, 01:58 AM
well, the idea is to select a specific time of day and devote one full hour to studying Torah - finding a partner and the 2 of you studying together is best (maybe after the kiddos are asleep?)

There are some study helps and suggestions on www.ou.org (http://www.ou.org) as they are the folks who are spearheading this effort :)

Walid Shoebat and Zak Anani will be appearing on Radio and TV over this
week. We have already through our PR agent arranged 25 interviews on
Radio and TV

Walid will appear for the first time on CNN. The segment is set for
between 2.45 pm and 4 pm on Wednesday July 26th. This will be the first
appearance of Walid on this channel. We have finally broken through on to
CNN network.

Zak Anani was on Fox News last week and if any one missed it here it is

http://www.terrorfreeoil.org/videos/ZA071506.php
(http://www.terrorfreeoil.org/videos/ZA071506.php)
After Zak appeared on TV he received dozens of life threatening phone
calls which required him to change his number under advisement of the
authorities. This is the third time he had to change his number. Also
because of false accusations by Islamic thugs his children were taken from
him then restored after a year, last week. All the accusations were
proven totally false but the story does not stop. As a result of his
appearance on TV last week, the court decided to take back one of his
daughters because, "By Zak speaking out for Israel and against terror he is
ENDANGERING his children's welfare"

This is outrageous and what message does this say to our free society?
That the courts in Canada would put into foster care a child of the
victimized parent of intimidation, because of Islamic hatemongers.
Surely, if the court was so fearful of harm to his child then the protection
of Zak and his family by the law enforcement officers at the expense of
the tax payer is a prequisite for a free society and not to imprison
and separate the innocent because of evil Islamists. This is political
correctness and appeasement gone mad.

Zak has not nor will he be intimitated, and will be doing dozens of
media interviews over the next couple of weeks despite the intimidation.
We need some financial support for Zak to pay for a lawyer so he can
keep his kids. He is risking his life to speak for civilization and for
the people of Israel, we owe him some help to fight and keep his children
from the powers of foolish courts who purport to represent "freedom"
and "Justice"

Please email us at walid@shoebat.com (http://us.f374.mail.yahoo.com/ym/Compose?To=walid@shoebat.com&YY=87597&order=down&sort=date&pos=0&view=a&head=b) if you wish to help Zak in his
time of need.

Shalom

Kamal Saleem has joined the Walid Shoebat Foundation and is eager to speak to the world about the threat of Islamic terror and advocate for Israel.

Kamal Saleem was born in Lebanon to a prominant Muslim clerical family, and out of sympathy to the Palestinian cause joined the PLO Fatah movement as a child. Later on he joined the PFLP. While being an active
terrorist from the age of eleven years old Kamal was involved in rioting and open gun battles with the IDF on the Lebanese-Israeli border.

While in America Kamal partcipated in islamic missions work to convert young Americans to Islam, in order to then have them recruited for Jihad in America.

In 1985 Kamal went through a spiritual journey and converted to Christianity and has already spread his message of reconciliation to many Christians. Now he believes he needs to speak to a wider audiance and
fulfill G-ds blessing on the Jewish people and Israel.

It is our honor and duty to promote Kamal in the media, because of his background can join us in the current fight for the rights of Israel to defend itself against the evil of Hezbollah terrorists and the media who holds Israel to a different standard.

Shalom

Walid will appear on The Bill O'Reilly Show "The Factor" on Tuesday August 1st between 8 pm -9 pm Eastern again repeated at 11 pm -12 am Eastern.

Walid will give his views on the current conflict in Lebanon.

Walid and Zak have being working non stop on the media for the last week. Zak did a syndicated radio interview that was aired on 2000 radio stations nationwide (50 million listeners). Between CNN, CNN
International, Fox News and all Radio interviews we have estimated to have reached over 80 million people worldwide, this week alone. The CNN international interview was aired prime time in Europe at 8.20 pm local UK/Ireland and 9.20 pm in continental Europe.

We hope to have the CNN interviews up on the web site before Wednesday for those that did not see them and for new people to get the truth. The CNN domestic interview was one of the best short interviews Walid has
ever done.

We hope to continue the momentum. The hard truth is coming and coming fast.

In three years from scratch we have now reached 300 million people worldwide and counting.

Shalom

Keith

Well, I have been praying the psalms faithfully each night ( except for two nights I fell asleep) , I have used my little Tefillin translation, and my KJV and my CJB version. but I would still like to study with at least one person here?

We are at day 5 of Av, only 4 days left, anyone? Just give me a time and I will make sure I make it here.
