Should we trust human wisdom, to tell us the will/word of God?

NO! :

Gal 1:12 (interlinear)

not, for I from man received it, nor was I taught (by man)...

16 ... immediately, NOT I conferred with flesh and blood...

Col 2:4 this but (I) say that not anyone you BEGUILE, by persuasive words.

1 Tim 4:1 the but Spirit in words says that in latter times will depart from some the faith, adhering to spirits deceiving, and teachings of demons, in hypocrisy of liars.

(could THAT affect the 'translations'?)

Mat 16:6 And Jesus said to them, Beware and take heed from the leaven of the pharisees, and the saducees.

Mat 16:12 .. Then they knew that not He said to take heed from the leaven of bread but from the TEACHING of the pharisees and saducees.

Look to mankind for wisdom of God?

Mat 15:1 Then approached to Jesus the (ones) from Jerusalem, scribes and pharisees, saying Why the disciples of you transgress the tradition of the elders? not for they wash the hands of them, when bread, they eat.

(Oooh. The 'mighty elders' teaching was FALSE. Beware of those who 'appear wise'.)

Mat 15:9

"In vain but they adore Me, teaching (as) teachings, ordinances of MEN."

Mat 11:25

"I give praise to you, Father, Lord of the heaven and of the earth, for you hid these things from sophisticated and cunning, and revealed them to babes."

-Jesus

What if some of those appearing to be wise-scholarly-helpers,

were really 'wolves in sheeps clothing'?

What if their teaching were corrupted?

Would YOU know it?

That is why we have ONE shepherd which is God. and everything that we are..are his sheep! No one is greater than the other.
