I have a friend that's really deep into cutting and I'm scared that she'll take it too far one of these times. I used to be a cutter but I wasn't in as far as she is. :help: :prayer: Plz, what should I do?

Pray for her and tell her parents. I know you may feel like she won't like you if you tell her parents, but you are doing that to help her. How would you feel if she dies and you did not say anything? It would not be your fault, but you would feel awful about it for a very long time - believe me, I know from experience. You must tell her parents or another adult who you trust in order to get her some help. You can ask the adult not to mention that you were the one who said something, but she may find out anyway. It is more important to save your friend's life than to try to save your friendship.
I am praying that the Lord will be your strength, guidance and wisdom in this matter. :prayer:

She needs serious help. This is a very bad, potentially deadly situation. She needs help from all people in her life, including you, her parents, her church and ESPECIALLY qualified mental health professionals. This is not something to take lightly. Tell your parents and her parents and do it as soon as you finish reading this message.
You're a good friend for caring.

Get help. Don't hurt yourself like that.

I had a friend who used to cut, when she got really depressed. And I have cut once, when I was for lack of a better word, broken. I thought I was worthless and could do nothing right.
Have you talked to her about it? If not, you should. And you should deffinitly tell her parents. But sometimes, that can also make things worce. Depending on what kind of parents she has. So I would sugest, talk to her about if first. If she's just doing it for attention, talk to her parents.

Get her professional help.
I've dealt with a cutter, and I wouldn't wish what I went through on anyone. There was nothing I could do to stop her or help her. These people need professional help, and maybe you can ask your youth pastor what you should do as a friend. You need to know how to help from someone who is qualified.

Her mom knows and so does our Youth pastor and leaders...it's not helping!

I pray for you, may God guide you in right way.
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

I'll pray, also.
