Do you have friends or family members that you are so close to you can confess secrets and talk over important matters?

If you had to make a life-changing decision, who would you discuss it with first?

I would likely talk to my pastor before 99% of my family members. To be honest, when I had a bad mammogram report earlier this year it took everything I had not to call him and ask for his prayers before telling my husband.

I discuss anything "big" or life-changing with dh FIRST! Sometimes he's the only one I discuss stuff with. I do have close family members and friends that I could confide in if I felt I needed to. I'm sure with some parenting issues I might go to other mothers who are at home and available to talk to if dh is at work.

I go straight to my wife. We talk about everything from the good to the very not so good. After thinking of this, I believe it's placing a conviction on me that I should go to God first to talk about things.

I'd talk to my husband first.
After that, I'd talk to family (my parents, his parents, my aunt/uncle)
I'm a member of a small prayer group of ladies, and I'd call them, too.

My husband is my confidant and the one I talk to about everything with. Communication is so important in a marriage. It helps build trust, security and a growth in love each time we discuss everything from small matters to major ones.

I'm thankful everyday that God placed my husband in my life. He truly is my best friend in life. :)

mrs. menno is all I have. I had a good friend and coworker, but he took off to school and his career has taken him out of my circle. We get together on occaison but it isn't the same.

I've no close friends though lots of acquaintances. I feel though that if I had to get something off my chest after talking with the mrs. I could pm folks here, especially bud, LL, and arunma. And that's a pretty cool feeling to have.
