A suicide bombing in downtown Jerusalem was thwarted Monday, after a 25-year-old Palestinian was caught carrying a bomb in a bag on a main city thoroughfare, police said.

One thing I've learned working in television news is that people care more when they see how stuff affects them directly, so...

Those not in support of Israel defending itself might feel differently if they were sitting next to me right now as I just watched the police arrest a suicide bomber across the street... and I am not joking.

Prayer is needed BADLY. Stuff seems to be escalating quickly!

I just heard about this as I woke up, they said that it is common to have these bombers come at Jerusalem, but it was not common for them to be caught so far in the city limits. I think they said the Old City of David was the area and the plan was to detonate it in a crowed area.

This is bad, but maybe this will put some thoughts of change into the heads of those who wish to 'party' there soon. ;)
