I was given Kenyas purple wings...I have tried to equip it as third item is still in front!Have tried putting dress on before ...after...equipping it first nothing seems to work!

Are you trying to equip it with a background? You can't have both wings and a background (except there's two backgrounds that have wings in them). Unequip your background, leave the flowers and dog equipped and try the wings again.

did that but was missing part of the wing!!Wish we could have a background with our wings!

If Erwin ever has the time and energy to redo the way the character items layer over each other, I hope we can have two items that equip behind the character so we can mix and match things like wings, umbrellas and background images.

*bump* (small hijacking ahead)

I just bought the purple wings, when I tried to equip them they went in the front- and I don't have a background? I tried equipping the wings before any other clothing but it didn't work! They still show up in the front unless I equip 2 other spesh items...

That's correct -- in order for the wings to show up behind the character, they must be equipped as the 3rd special item. The third special item slot is the only slot that is behind the character's body.

Perhaps it would be wise to note in the shopping area next to the wings -- that a background can not be used with wings (This might take less time for the administrator).

(If not already noted there...[haven't looked, as I bought my white wings in auction and had not seen these previously]...it took me a while to figure out what category of special item they were (lol...transportation [too cute])!!

At any rate -- I can see why there are colored wings in consideration this now. :-p!!

It's kind of complicated. We have some wings that work in the background or foreground, if your character has short hair. That's how the wings you're wearing were designed. We have wings that are part of the background -- so they come with a background. And we have some wings that need to be in the 3rd special items slot, but don't come with a background.

Different people have different preferences when it comes to wings, and we've tried to offer a variety of styles and options.

Some info in the description field about how to equip the wings is a good idea.
