Ever since I was young now and again I would get an odd feeling,
A fear of something but not knowing what,
like something is very wrong somewhere but no sign of ill fortune evident!
Its a really hard feeling to explain Up until a year ago I used to say it was someone walking on my grave but has since learnt that is a shudder and not what I am getting... I have asked around and people just look at me as though I am nuts
Even as an adult I have been unable to shake it of course its not with me constantly it comes and goes typically a week or so over a long period such as a year
Anyone else get this or may think they know what it is?

If I'm reading you right, I think I've gone through that. It may just be anxiety. Let's hope so.

It may be anxiety as stated before.
I have experienced something similar on occassions and I always feel it is a prompting to pray for people. It happens mostly at night. I will wake up very anxious like something is not right. I pray hard for everyone and everything and then it goes away. That may not make sense to others, but it works for me.
God Bless You! :)

well, how are you doing spiritually? Could it be that God is convicting you of sin in your life? I've gone through the same thing before and realized it was the conviction that follows sin. I'm not accusing you of course, but maybe read through the sermon on the mount and through the epistles and see if your life is lining up to what God wants. We as christians experience peace that surpasseth all understanding because we have a conscience void of offense before all men. Just a thought, if its just anxiety then cry out to God for deliverence because its not God's will for us to live in fear, for "perfect love casteth out all fear"

Ditto. I think it may be some sort of warning from the Holy Spirit of a need to pray and make intercession. It's hard to explain but it happens to me, too, on occasion... and to my wife seemingly more often.

Phil 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and
supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known
unto God.
4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep
your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
