I know I've pointed out about a bazillion times how big a fan I am of this program on Israel National Radio, but the guest this week looks like someone that may be of interest here, whether good or bad:
Pastor John Hagee Takes A Stand as the IDF enters Lebanon for the First Time Since May 2000
Pastor Hagee of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas quiets the skeptics by unequivocally condemning missionary activity and laying out his plan for the Christian world in their mission to bless the Jewish people.

These shows are only up for a week, so hurry!

I recieved a book from a Jewish messianic man named David Silver about God's end time plan for Israel and the Church. One of things that he spoke of was the Church's reluctance to share the good news with the Jewish world. He also spoke of Christians that would financially support Yeshivas that were anti-messianic, and was frustrated over that, too.
He seemed to be upset that Christians have taken their love for Israel and the Jewish people and have mis-used it. This is not the first time Hagee has made such ridiculous statements, and once when I shared some of Hagee's anti-missionary views with Mr Silver, Mr Silver replied that Hagee is dead wrong.
The gospel was first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. But that doesn't mean that God isn't interested in Jewish people being saved and having abudant life now! Hagee believes that Yeshua will return and save every single Jewish person that ever lived, even Judas the betrayer, so no need to go and share the gospel to Jewish people.
I think that Hagee is actually against Jews with his attitude!
Yeshua will handle this one.

we Messianics need to pray more ... when people are being kidnapped and blown to pieces, it doesnt matter who in the Church is for or against the Jews, Believers or not; what only matters is who is praying for this precious Nation:prayer:...Prayer needs to begin with us, we can set the example here and now of how to do this "endtimes" thing....We ARE suppose to know it all right?;) Lets start showing it:prayer:
we are always feeling like we're stuck in the middle, betwwen the Jews and the Church, well in times like this what better place is there to be:clap:

Hadara,
John Hagee has had to repeatedly defend himself from people who have claimed he is a "dual-covenant" theologian. That is, that Jews have salvation through earlier covenants made with them and don't need Jesus (who is just for the gentiles). He does NOT subscribe to such a theory. If you listen to the radio program, once again he clarified his position. HE DOES NOT TARGET JEWS specifically. We are commanded to bring the gospel message to all the nations in the entire world! He doesn't say that Jews don't need Jesus. He is just saying that his pro-Israel ministry doesn't target any specific group of people.

Isn't Mr. Hagee a dispensationalist? It's my understanding dispensationalism is sort of a "dual covenant" theology.

And I think that is needed for Israel to accept the support, but I think things are changing there in that respect, the curtains are parting and the true supporters are starting to be seen, without such threatening as before.

Yes. In that theory, God has two plans of salvation, God will have two brides, and the Jews get earth, while the "Church" gets to rule over them in the New Jerusalem.
You know what's really hypocritical about the supposedly "pro-israel" people who believe this? They believe that God will rapture them away before the "tribulation" begins, leaving the Jewish nation to deal with their enemies.
I spoke of David Silver before. He is totally against this whole concept for exactly that reason. Is someone really your friend when they are planning to ditch you just when you need your friends the most?
