Great pictures, thanks Stone!
I especially liked that one of a stone alleyway, you could just see the thousands of years of it being worn down like an old soft shoe.
Quite a juxtaposition next to the bright red candied apples, not something I would consider Israeli fare. ;)

Safat is a beautiful city, filled with wonderful people, buildings, art and Chasidic spirtuality. It breaks my
heart to see rockets falling upon it, and a man
recently killed.
I must make it a point to go to the festival sometime-
looks like a wonderful experience....thank you for
