The next one that is in Lev 23 is Rosh HaShannah

The next one we'll be be honoring is Tish B'Av - (9th Av) A day of mourning the loss of the temples - as well as other losses.

You can read more about it HERE. (http://www.jewfaq.org/holidayd.htm)

A friend brought this to my attention...

According to the Jewish calendar, the period beginning tonight marks the "Dire Straits" season, from the 17th of Tammuz to the 9 th of Av. This is a season of increased danger for Israel.

Given the present situation in Israel this seems very pertinent.
