PM Ehud Olmert says his unilateral withdrawal plan from Judea/Samaria will proceed, despite the results of last year's withdrawal and expulsion of Jewish residents from Gaza.

Based on this, I really find myself wanting to slap Olmert in the back of the head and ask, "what's wrong with you?" However, the Israeli cop I'm standing next to in my profile pic has a theory that Olmert is only doing this to get Hamas to negotiate. I really hope he's right, but I just don't see good things coming from any of this.

I don't see any good coming from it either.
The man must have an incrediably short attention span - he has already forgotten what happened after the pull out from Gaza. And that he has troops back in there less than a year later defending Israel.
So very, very sad...

I had the pleasure of witnessing History being made a week ago, last Monday. The PM's right hand man visited the Messiah conference and had many interesting things to say. When I get settled back in and get my notes and review the DVD I will share with you all.
All I can say is what will be done is only what is in HaShems will to be done, we may not understand but we should obey King Davids plea to Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem, it is all about there, the heart, not the land itself, that will be rightfully returned in its season, but it is about Yerushalyim.
'Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.'
I had made a mezuzah with just this verse on it. It is shortly on its way back to Yerushalyim to be posted on the doorway of a dear friend I made while at conference who lives in Jerusalem.

I think it's got to be a politics game at this point. I don't see how anyone in their right mind can keep on track of a plan that is not working.
Zayit, i am eager to hear what you have to say about that conference. ^_^

I will be giving my report on that meeting soon. I just purchased a DVD player but had to take it back. Hopefully DH will set it up tonight and I can take down notes, word for word and report here for all who are interested. :)

Something I just realized , this kipnapping happened right after Gissin spoke at the international MJAA convention.
Coincedense? I think not, there is someone besides the Jews in the land, even the UO that don't want Messianic Jews welcomesd there, in the worst way, the commander of Hezbollah, and other terrorist groups. ;)
