I would assume that most of you are familiar with Michael Moore and I am sure you have heard of Bowling For Columbine, which advocates staunch Gun Control. Well, there is another side to the story. What is it that Michael Moore did not tell you? Well, Larry Elder will tell you. I highly reccomend you check out the following:

That.... was..... fantastic.
I lived a barely a mile from the Luby's cafeteria during the shooting there (mentioned almost halfway through the movie). I probably would have heard the shots had I not been vacuuming at the time.

What always touches me is that Christian Girl who was shot, who said she was a Christian knowing that answer would cost her her life.

I saw some time ago. A fellow at work said one of the Marine recruiters in the film was killed in Iraq not long ago...
Your wise son is correct-you should look at both (michael moore:doh:)

I hear More is a Flake. However, I have heard some of the basis is factual information. I am looking forward to taking a look-see..
As far as Gun control, we held an ATF license. I do not like guns at all, however I believe the right to bear arms.
Amendment II – Right to bear Arms
A well regulated Militia, being necessarily to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
I am just waiting for the Gun opponents to put Militia and the National Guard together and raise a ruckus with that. (If they haven't already) Nonsense. I do want to know who has them, but I do not believe the right should be taken from anyone the ability to protect us in our own homes. I prefer if someone has one that it be a shotgun. It offers a good warning sound that is usually deterrent enough first. But that is my personal opinion.
I am having a hard time viewing this. It keeps buffering in and out, can you rent this too?

Do you mean an FFL (Federal Firearms License)?

No, we sold guns back in the early 90's. (better deals) My ex does have a license to carry amongst most of the cops and military in my family, mostly hunters. But we were licensed by the ATF for retail gun sales.

Good link. Not much publicity for it, it seems.

Hmm, you just never seemed the gun dealer type:P
So can you get me some good prices on hi-cap 92 mags? Since the Clinton exec order has expired they shouldn't cost so much anymore.
And you wouldn't have any black talons on the shelf anywhere, would ya? Or some Winchester 127 gr +P+ JHP? 9mm of course...

Thanks for sharing. I've read Larry Elder's columns for several years (love those Libertarians). Now thanks to the wonders of satellite radio I get to hear his talk show. Sad to say, the chief justice (his mother) passed a couple of weeks ago - she was always a delight to listen to, never hesitated to share her 2cents worth.
Funny thing about gun control - when you ask those who are for outlawing gun ownership what Bill of Rights Amendment they will be willing to give up next - they get all huffy.

Yeah, I am the local Christian Forums Gun Runner now....
No, this was back in the early 90’s and my husband at the time dealt with it. He mostly sold Glocks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glock). It always made me nervous when a shipment would come in; I would make him keep the ammo in the wood case with the cement lock in the basement. It was never allowed to be open in the house. The Glocks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glock) were kept out of reach of the kids in a completely different part of the house. He used to whine about that and tease that if a burglar broke in he would have to ask permission to go and get his ammo to shoot!
I am not particularly a gun person, but we did sell them to friends and coworkers and family. He got a very good deal on them in bulk and we charged very little over wholesale. I am not sure how the laws have changed in this area now, but then we had to get permission from our neighbors as part of our application process. This was absolutely fine with me nobody messed with us, but in another way they could have, by just knowing we sold them could bring intruders looking to steal them. So I can see both sides of the issue, but I felt it was better that the government know, and no one else for that reason only. As I said before, I want to know who has them. I know we certainly cannot catch them all, but I think it is our right to use them in our own homes for protection as a last resort. It was a struggle as a Christian deciding this again recently for me. But I believe that we can protect our families and ourselves. I think this is where the verse "by mans blood be shed" comes in. That person that is forced to do this knows that if his intent was not to hurt or harm, but seriously to protect – that will give them some peace. IMHCO:prayer:
