Do you ever get out of the box and visit other churches and sometimes find it very refreshing? :)

Sure.
When I'm in Massachusetts I go to the charismatic Episcopal Church I was saved in. Then I go to the uncharismatic Episcopal church my stepdaughter goes to. I go to my brother's AOG, my niece's Calvary Chapel, my brother-in-law's Presbyterian Church (of America). That's probably the only one I don't want to go back to. Occasionally I'll go to something special at the local First Baptist Church. They really know how to preach! :)

Yes and most of the time enjoy it immensely. I have attended and stood stoic with the frozen chosen, and danced with the "wildfire". I prefer the "wildfire".

When I go on vacation, that's when I usually go "church hopping." When I'm in Massachusetts I go to the charismatic Episcopal Church I was saved in. Hey Barb, next time you're up here, come visit my church, www.lowellag.org (http://www.lowellag.org) and I'll treat ya to Greek food at the Olympia in Lowell.

LOL, I think I've already been there!
I would absolutely love to come to the Lowell AOG, but will only spend a short while and need to go to All Saints Episcopal Church, West Newbury, Mass! Check out Frs. Michael and Bill if you ever venture further north!
btw, I believe that I had lamb chops the size of my fists - do I have the right place?
I will give you a heads-up when I come up - probably in August. Maybe my phone can call your answering machine and we'll do lunch?

I have a ton of trouble keeping my hands at my sides with the frozen. Doesn't always work - sometimes you just gotta worship God! :D

Our church services are in the afternoon.. so we can go to morning services at other churches..
We are going to our old AOG church this Sunday morning because the missionaries from Haiti.. (who my hubby gifted the proceeds from the sale of his 66 Mustang to) are in town & will be at that service..
Also our pastor gets invited to preach in lots of other churches.. and "the core" of our church travels with him to support him and pray for the other churches..

I don't visit other churches becos I really do feel that the sermons I hear in my church are the best. It's just my personal conviction.

I only go for special services, and they're usually in the evenings. I am too involved to go anywhere else, besides, I would miss it.....

I don't like getting *into* the box . I mostly visit new groups . Why is that ? If it's not personal :)
