Have you ever wanted to see Jesus in those times that are not mentioned in the Bible? I would love to see Jesus when he was cutting up, laughing, and just being laid back. :cool:

Yes that would be something to see.

On the other hand, Perhaps the reason those things were excluded, just think of all the doctrines, traditions, churches, etc. that would be started with all that information. :D

On edit: I remembered that in The Passion there were a couple of short scenes. One He was joking with his mom.

In "The Matthew Film" Bruce Marchiano was attacked, verbally, because they said his Jesus was too joyful.
Dumbest thing I ever heard.

I so agree - a Jesus I envisage would be a man of infinite joys as well as 'infinite sorrows'. And I loved that scene in the film when he flicked water in his mother's face - just how people in a close relationship would act.

Good point about the movie. I remembered that scene after you said something and that is exactly what I am talking about. You know he had that same kind of attitude when he was just chillin' with his disciples. God I can't wait to get to heaven to see him!

Somewhere fun, I hope.

I would love to hear what Jesus said to the children as they were clamouring around him, reaching out to touch him as children will, just wanting to be with him. I wonder what he said to them as he held them. :)

Have you read Roberts Liardon's book, I Saw Heaven?

One of the things I was most struck by was his encounter with Jesus when he visited Heaven. It's been a long, long time since I read it, so the details are a little fuzzy, but Roberts was just a small boy when he went and he was splashing around in a river and Jesus started splashing him, playfully, just like you would do with your child in a pool and they were laughing and having a great time. I just loved that image. :D

Anybody here read that book and can fill in some details?
