members designs monthy poll

I have noticed many members atempt to create their own designs,and I was thinking,would it be possible to post them in one thread,limited to 1 per person a month,and then let people vote for the one they want added?

only designs of high standard and armory team quality would be entered in the poll :)
the members would also have to modify the design if asked,to be eligible for the poll

lol, wish I could make armor, but I couldn't if my life depended on it. I don't have much focus when I try to make stuff.

I'd like to hear from some of the people who like to make their own designs about how they would feel about a poll. They would be the ones most directly affected. :)

yup... before then I usually included a poll anyways- I prefer them.

Ravenscape has already posted on the issues with polls in other threads. I'd rather not have them, I just feel it might become more of a population contest and voters may vote by peer pressure.

Also you have to define when the designer has to modify their creation, when a member asks or when someone of the armory team asks because I could see people specifying what they would personally want over the original designer's concept.

Maybe a different subsection such to have on going works which people may make suggestions to, would be better... Then when the designer is done with the design they may post their 'perfected' design in the request thread.

BTW Blackmarch, have you done anything with the pixelsmith anvil idea yet?
