I am surprised that a Greek Orthodox bishop - and especially the Greek Orthodox Bishop of Alexandria! - should have made such a mistake. Heck, even I know that the supposed Monophysitism of the Coptic Orthodox Church has been mutually agreed to be no more than a misunderstanding about the meaning of the theological term, and that it has now been cleared up...

Are you making any progress on inter-Communion with the Eastern Orthodox? I understand that you already accept each others' Baptisms, which AFAIK was not always the case.

we accept the Baptism of the Eastern Orthodox churches which accept our Baptism too like the Greek Orthodox of Alexandria and the Antioch Orthodox Church , and there are alot of periodic dialogues between us , but also there are some problems , Pray for the unity

could any of the Mods here Stick this thread , i think it is very important because it is an explantion about our Christology from Eastern Orthodox Patriarch and Bishop , so it is clear that the OO Churches are not monophysites as alot of people think
