Well Apostle Paul Said is was (Romans 7:14) and considering I'm still "Wet behind the ears" ;) i'm not about to argue with him.

On a serious note. Deut 6:5 can only be spiritual because it deals with the heart, not the outward picture frame. That is just one example.

I think it is. It helps me think of G-d. I do my best at following it because I love him.

The law is also the solid foundation upon which we build our home, it will support us through the coming storm, because we know our Lord put us there.

Without Torah, you would probably have about 35,000 different christian faiths in the U.S. based from the New Testament alone-

O wait a minute...

THAT ALREADY HAPPENED!!!

I came across this quote while researching a different topic, but thought it was appropriate for this discussion:

The Bible says that the law is spiritual and that spiritual things are spiritually understood. Without conversion, spiritual things are foolishness. Furthermore, because most people are not converted, we know that they do not discern spiritual things, so it follows that God's law is not written on their hearts. The final evidence of this conclusion is that the hallmark of God having written His law on someone's heart is that they then KEEP that law, and we know that most people don't keep God's law even when they might agree intellectually that they should not engage in some of their behaviors because these behaviors are bad for them or for other people around them (taken from .http://www.sabbath-day.com)

one way to think of it for me... is that there are two distinct but intertwined realities: physical and spiritual. with our senses, we experience the physical world. With our souls, spiritual eyes, and through the work of the Spirit we encounter the spiritual world. G-d is L-rd of both.
The way I think of it is that everything we encounter physically has a spiritual counterpart. Every decision we make has spiritual and physical (for lack of a better word) ramifications, benefits, or consequences. the Torah to me is like a physical, this-world gate to the heavenly, Kingdom-world reality. We are trapped in these physical bodies in this sinful world as sinners ourselves but for a time. And during that time, G-d has provided concrete ways for us to experience and connect with the spiritual.

Maybe that sounds new-agey, but I don't know how to explain it very well :)

Shalom,

I have no doubt that the law is Spiritual.

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Messiah http://www.eliyah.com/SonName.gif hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
