View Full Version : Suggestion for armour request threads

I've been casting about for the best place to put this and just decided to plunk it down here.
Is it possible to require everyone to put the name of the item they are requesting in the thread title? It can be quite time consuming to go through the threads to make sure a request has not already been made when thread titles just say More Backgrounds or Another Dress, etc. It would also make it easier for those people who have slow connections, I would think. Just a suggestion. Thanks. :)

I think that is a good idea :)

It's a good idea, but hard to enforce. And if someone messes up, a mod would have to change the title for it to show up differently in the forum index.

However, what I can do is make sure the "To Be Considered" List has something descriptive about the items requested. Maybe that will help, since I'm keeping the list in real-time in the CF Characters forum, now.

I did notice that you had put some things in brackets on the list. That would be a great help. :) Okay...I'll admit it, I'm lazy is all! :sorry:

This is actually one of the rules of requesting an item.
Read the request rules.:)
If everyone would do this it would make it much easier on the artists in the design forum also.
I hate it when I see a thread entitled "Requesting" or "Ummm".
I don't know what it is unless I open the thread and read it.
Wish there was a way to enforce this rule.
:sigh:

Isn't it also a rule to make only one request per two weeks? Yeah it would be really nice if there was some way to actually inforce the Armory request rules...

That's what I thought.
We would need a moderator to enforce these rules.
Do you mod this forum?
You're welcome to start enforcing these rules.
;)
Thanks.

I just noticed there are 5 mods for this forum.
Looks like they could start enforcing some of our rules.
;)
