Coptic Church allows two liturgies in the same day in the same Church?
Bc in the Coptic Orthodox Church in my town (that I sometime attend in the last pew) there are two liturgies on sunday, one start on about 8 am and one on about 8 pm.
Is the second liturgy (that looks like the morning one) a Liturgy with consacration, or a presanctificated liturgy (as sometime in EO) ?
thanks

I am not a Copt so I am not sure what the answer is, but I would venture to guess that there is more than one priest at that parish, as a priest is usually only alllowed to do one consecration a day unless he has a dispensation from a Bishop.
So one priest would do the consecration at one Liturgy, and a different priest would do the consecration at another.
This is at least the protocol in the EO Church.
Although considering the time difference 8 pm might be considered a new day because the new liturgical day begins at sundown so tt may be that the same priest presides at both liturgies.
Hopefully a Coptic brother or sister will be around soon to answer your question.

It is not allowed for the priest to pray the liturgy on the same day at least 9 hours diffrence must be between the 2 liturgies , also this for the same altar and the same eucharist instruments ( cup ,...etc ) , so when you find two liturgies at the same church you conclude that they have more than one priest and more than one altar ( most of the coptic orthodox churches have 3 altars )

The altar was the same, back the big central door.
Where are usually placed the other two altars? (my town church is an old church given by catholics to the coptics and fitted)
There was more than 12 hours of difference, so the sunday eve one could be a complete liturgy? (each liturgy was served by at least two priests, but not toghether)
Why three altars? can you pray three Liturgies contemporary?
Thanks

inside the sanctuary there are three altars one in the middle and others right and left the middle one and infront of every one there is a door in the iconstasis
Why three altars ??
to use any of them if they want to pray more than one liturgy in the same day ( by another priest and another alatr instruments ) but ofcourse not at the same time , and also it is our orthodox tradition to have many altars named by saints name in the same church
