i'm new also...how do u get characters and armor?

Hi hungry ! See that blue box at the top of your screen that says CF character? That is where you can get characters and items , once inside there , click on get character items , youll need to "buy" one item from all character parts (body , eyes , eyebrows , mouth , hair) for your character to show up , then you click into get armor items to dress your character and special items area for backgrounds and other items for accessories .

You can buy the items with blessings . Hope this helps :)
