We can all still pray together, right? Maybe we should try.

I'll start:

The Lord be with you. :prayer:

So, if someone could say "And Also with you", or "and with thy spirit" or in the spirit of the new proposed Roman Catholic liturgical reforms "And with your spirit",

we can move forward...

Thank you, Tom.

Let us pray...

Eternal God, thank you for the fellowship and community we have here in STR. Help us to love each other as you love us, and to try to seek to understand before we seek to be understood.

O Most Holy Trinity have mercy on us. O Lord, cleanse us from our sins. O Master, pardon our transgressions. O Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities, for Thy Name's sake.

Father, may you remind us of your continual love and care, especially in those moments when you seem so distant and we feel so alone.

"O Christ of the road of the wounded,
O Christ of the tears of the broken,
In us and with us the needs of the world
Grant us our prayers of loving and hoping,
Grant us our prayers of yearning and healing."
(prayer from Iona)

"Search us O God and know our hearts
Test us and know our thoughts.
See if there is any wicked way in us
and lead us in the way everlasting."
(Psalm 139:23-24)

In your mercy...

Father of glory,God of our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray that you grant to us a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of You. We pray that the eyes of our hearts may be enlightened, so that we may know what is the hope of your calling, and the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe.
