Can anyone answer this for me. I requested a rainbow striped bag like this earlier.... http://aliera.hacks.arizona.edu/~bluebird/peach_collection/toyboxx/rainbowpurse.gif It was declined.
But I notice we have rainbow socks, and wig
I have the wig. Why not the bag?:scratch: :confused:

I think the main reason is that the armoury team can only approve and create a limited number of items each time. Otherwise they would just be overwhelmed. Your bag must have been one of the many that didn't make the cut. It's nothing personal. :hug:

When the item is not too obviously rainbow colored -- i.e. not rainbow stripes, we can still sometimes accept a multicolored item request. And we certainly don't name multicolored armor items anything rainbow-related.

Your request for a bag hasn't been declined. The June 1 list is currently being reviewed (but not yet worked on), and you should hear something fairly soon.

Your opinion is more apparent then you think, and yes it matters. It's like calling a porche a truck.

Ohh and watch out for those red overcoats, I've seen a lot of them this winter.

This request hasn't been made yet, so it's a little soon to be saying what she can and can't have in the way of a bag.

here is what was said by ravenscape on the first bag she requested...and this was just days after the rainbow (clown) wig was added...this was what day2day and i were referring too...did not think day2day or i was assuming it was declined...but that is sure the way it sounded...

Just so you all know, although we could make a multi-colored bag, we would not be able to add a rainbow-colored bag to the armory, per Erwin's instruction. If this gets approved, we'll do our best to make a cute and colorful bag -- just not a rainbow bag.

In the past, people have fought and debated over rainbow-related stuff, due to the fact that it's a symbol for Christians, for LGBT, for racial diversity, etc. After several arguments about armor last spring and summer, Erwin made it a rule that the armory would no longer add rainbow-related items, to try and prevent future turmoil.

I can't change his rule, and given how things went in the past, I'm not sure I woud want to change it. But, at any rate, only Erwin can change this policy.

I don't won't anyone be upset.
So, I removed it and added a some new bags for consideration.I just thought it was a cute bag. I still say the wig and bag would go really good together. what do you think?

That's right. We can't add pictures of rainbows and we can't add items with "rainbow" in the name. We can't add items that are clearly meant to be rainbows. Multicolored items are still allowed, though. In the thread, multiple references were being made to a "rainbow bag". That was the issue. There will not be a "rainbow bag" in the armory. If I wasn't clear enough in my explanation in the thread, day2day, you have my apologies.

it is multicolored and the one that she wanted really bad, it is no different then the wig colors imo anyway

Thank you Raven for that awesome explanation :clap: I do believe that even though the CLOWN WIG was requested as a rainbow wig , its not STRIPED as a rainbow , it IS multicolored and has been named CLOWN WIG just like you said :)
