If it is also a gun then it won't be able to be added to the armory as it would violate the no guns rule...

Just for the pic itself though, as cool as it is, it's pretty borderline... don't know if it would make it into the armory.

Although is you remove the gun explanation, replace the revolving chamber with something else, and remove the hammer and trigger (but not the trigger guard), so it isn't obviously a gun, it would have a better chance of going in. MAybe call it a G-blade.

However the shot has already been called on this request.... although you may want to try asking raven if you can submit that seperately as collector's special edition knife to hang on the wall or something (i don't think she's commented on the modded knife pic, so I don't think she's seen it yet).

What about a pistol grip? Considering it is a common type of grip on fencing swords and if you were to hold a gun in the same manner you would most likely break your fingers.

actually you'd be surprised how many ancient swords have hilts that look like old pistol grips (not modern ones).. also I don't think the hilt would be much of the problem on this item anyways because most of it would be covered by the hand holding it....

However the fencing sword would be a lot less likely, because that grip does look's like a modern gun grip specifically

I don't know what CF forum would be best to discuss weaponry. The name "Armory" would suggest this is the place, but, it's not that kind of armory :D

If you want to talk about fantasy/sci fi swords, maybe the SF forum would be a good place. Historical swords would probably go in the History forum. If both, probably the SF forum.
