ok,I was thinking,why dont you guys make forum full of stickies,one for each category ,and then poeople would place their requests there
now instead of saying aknowledged,you would do yes to the second round,or definite no,and that way,only the original and hopeful requests would make it on the list of possible items-lets say,once you have 10 good requests for each category,you would make a choice of 2 best

something like that
just finding it very hard to see what was already requested

..sorry for being annoying

I've been thinking about this, and I think it would actually increase the amount of administrivia that the armory team has to deal with during the go-rounds.

But, I had a thought that might make it a little easier for people to see the current requests.

I will be doing the acknowledgements and keeping the list for the July 1 go-round, so we can try this out on my watch ;).

When I'm the acknowledger, I keep a thread in my drafts of all the current requests. Then, when the go-round closes and the next one starts, I publish the list in the CF Characters forum. But, there's no reason why that list has to be in my drafts. So this time, I will keep a running list of the requests for the July 1 go-round in the CF Characters forum. You'll be able to see all the items that have been requested in the last half of June so far. I'll ask afterwards what people thought of the process.

Maybe we'll try this -- will have to discuss first. We generally don't decide something is not a go until after the full list can be reviewed. Even if we think an item is a no-go at first, we still sometimes change our minds.

Generally, the only time I decline an item early is if it is clearly not appropriate for CF AND it is generating some heated discussion because members are concerned that it *might* be approved.

I tried doing this dress but it didn't work out too well. I wanted to make one more dress from your request, and thought this was your favorite.

Is this the one you'd most like also, or was one of the others your favorite?

I remember Jessica described as a rustle of autumn colors in the gown she wore to the dinner party in Arakeen in the novel, but I don't remember that dress from the movie or miniseries.
