Cola, I think it would be fitting to go into the Branch Theory here...I'm not an expert by any means though..but I think this is where that concept would fit nicely...


Also, just to mention - I notice that in the "Catholic" response, there is a continual reference to the ROMAN Catholic viewpoint but it is referred to as the Catholic Church...I think someone (one of the heavy hitters here) needs to settle this once and for all - and insist for the sake of clarity that the ROMAN Church, which is part of the Catholic Church, is not in and of itself the full breadth of the Church Catholic. I think RCs need to start referring to themselves as ROMAN Catholics. Just my .02.

Unfortunately we went round and round on this when the Wiki first started. They get to call themselves "Catholic" all they want.

Ok..well..since we get to call ourselves whatever we want..I am now "Catholic" and will refer to the Anglican Communion as the Catholic Church that is in union with the ABC...can't beat em join em eh?

According to a direction given by the leader of the Wiki project, "Catholic" Refers to the RCC, and if we want to refer to what we call the "Catholic Church" we are to use the term "One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church".

While I don't like how it shook out, I agreed to abide by the rules. And I will do so.

LOL..no prob there even if you did! LOL - really and truly mine should be about 40lbs overweight..then it'd be more true to form...
