Okay, I have had to be in and out of here to manage attachments, since it wasn't working last night. It was linking to another site and we can't have that can we;)

Sadly, I cannot, it has been a while. This is the original or
the first abstract before I sized, changed and put it in gif.
format....that stinks...:doh: I believe the Moon and earth one
was from a kids site for free clip art, but would have know
idea where at. I guess they can't be added.....sorry.

if it's an astronomical photo, it's probably ok to use, depending on the source. I'm not sure if the red sky is a photo or a piece of art. We didn't think these two would look as good with a character in front of them.

I didn't know I was supposed to save links from backgrounds I requested or I would have, I had never seen it requested of anyone else. I went ahead and put them in the correct format and size, so I was kind of making them. But, anyway, I wont be finding the links-that would be way to time consuming and still probably would not find them.
Also, if links are needed from the other request I have in, they might as well be dropped too.
Sorry....next time I request something, like a background, I will make sure to save the links.;)

It's something we recently realized we need to be more careful about, Miracle_Storm. In the future, if we don't create the background from a picture that we, ourselves find and confirm doesn't have restricted use, we'll have to ask the requestor to provide a link so we can do the research.

This kind of slipped under the radar as members have begun cropping backgrounds on their own before requesting them. A few months ago, most background requestors weren't making their own backgrounds. During this go-round, I plan to ask about the source of the picture when I acknowledge the request, so hopefully people will be able to find them again.

Any clothing image would have to be significantly modified in order to fit the character's size and stance. We usually draw clothing items from scratch for this reason.

If an item appears to be an untouched portion of a photo or other art-form we'll need to ask about the source.
