Pray for Me - A Good Update - An Even Better Update

Hey Everyone,

Most of you know I am a poooor college student. In my latest round of job searches I have applied for about 8 on campus positions and a UPS Hub gig which has an added $1500/per semester bonus for their employees. I really want the UPS job and one of the on campus positions preferably in the Library but I won't be picky.

Pray that I can make some money rather than lose it. I need it.

The day they made me move into my new dorm across campus was the day that my fridge decided to die. Now, I truly am broke so I was mightly dismayed about this and was wondering how I was to keep my food from going bad. Turns out a little patience goes a long way. Five days later, some guy was giving away his fridge that worked top notch. The Lord taketh away and the Lord provideth. lol :clap:

One thing God has clearly taught me, He gives me everything I need. I had to evaluate the want vs. need in my life; nonetheless, He has kept His promise. Keep your eyes on that, even though it seems like something you might want, or need, and it doesn’t pan out the way you expect, God has a plan and it will be better. IOW Have no fear, you have done everything you can do, at this point, it is in His hands:)

(UPS for college students is a pretty rough gig, the time constraints are rigorous! It will keep you in shape!!)

Thats good about the UPS gig. I need to get buff and meet some nice ladies. :holy: Plus I never goto bed before 6am anyways. Im a freak of nature who really doesn't like to goto bed. Maybe I am just rebelling against my bedtime that I had when I was 10.

I had my interview at UPS today. It went really well and she said she doesnt hire but she said at this point with her reccomendation, I am in all likely hood going to get the job. She said she is going to put my name on the front and talk to her superviser and try to get them to call me today. She said if they don't call me today, not to freak out but that I can really expect to be hired.

So pray that her superviser isnt in a bad mood and that I pass the final hump! She gave me a 99% chance which is basically a shoe-in.

Update:

Got a "tenative job offer" today! They have to run my background and see if I have a felony, which I don't thank God! But I get to officially begin work and train June 19th at 11pm. So unless something screws up now I got the job at UPS!!
