Dear Friends,

The time has come for me to leave CF for awhile. I need some time away to sort some things out on my own. I will be around some tomorrow, but probably not much (if at all) after that.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate all the kindness and help I have received in TAW. You guys are the best!

Thank you, everyone, from the bottom of my heart. I will miss you!

With love,
Grace

Good-bye.

Does this mean that Orthodoxy is no longer an option for you? If so, would you mind sharing why, either here or in a pm, if it's not impolite to ask?

No, it's a perfectly legit question.:)

I will continue my inquiry into Orthodoxy, but it will be in a different way. For me, being around TAW is making it harder to discern the truth, rather than easier. I know well the power of peer influence, and by constantly hanging out with people who believe the truth is a certain thing, it becomes easier for me to believe that - whether it is true or not. I feel I need to get away for awhile and spend some time in the scriptures without hearing the constant affirmation that Orthodoxy is the one true faith.

I also find that my thinking is influenced by the desire to be a part of the group that I'm spending so much time with. This is a natural human desire, but I don't think it is helping me in my search for truth.

Tonight will be the last time I'll be checking in here for the time being, so if you have any other questions for me, I won't see them after that.

May God bless us all as we serve Him.

Your sister in Christ,
Grace

Grace,
Wishing you all the best. Never stop seeking the truth.
