Can anyone help me figure out what is wrong with my mom? She is having episodes of dementia that come on suddenly, and do not appear to be strokes...She is in the hopital and they think she needs psychiatric help and want to send her to a psychiatric hospital but they haven't even done an MRI yet....I am soooo worried about her, please pray for her, she is not herself at all...:prayer:

Have them check for a urinary tract infection, elderly people take it really bad and it shows up like dementia. My mum had that and I've seen it in several elderly ladies.

Praying for ur mum Tishri..and also check her iron levels..low iron can also lead to similar problems..and there could be various reasons that contribute to this in older people, check her tongue,is it bright red, does it feel sore since that could also signify low iron levels..agree with previous post about an undiagnosed infection it can present as such symptoms...hope she gets better soon:kiss:

According to LAM (http://www.mindsync.com/lam/root.htm), the site you posted previously on another thread Tish, this could be a 'deaf and Dumb' spirit, like those Yeshua cast out in the gospels.

Are you able to get to her? Is she a believer? Can you go pray over her and take authority?

Praying for you!

just make sure you have Tavor and maybe some of your prayer warriors from your church covering you in protective prayer before and while you are doing that.:groupray:

I would not let them put her in a psychiatric hospital... Doctors are always saying people are crazy when they dont know what is wrong or they dont want to be bothered finding out. They should do a brain scan because there are lots of things that can be wrong that they will not see any other way. Dont let them bully you. They are working for you, not the other way around and though they like to think they are gods they are not G-d. They do not know everything and their word is not necessarily the truth and their motives more often than not are not at all pure. Go with your heart and dont be afraid to stand up to them if you feel it necessary.

A bad combination of meds could do this also or too much blood pressure medication or cholestrol medication. I also agree with Zayit. Leave no stone unturned!

Yes, how is your mom?My Mom is in a psyciatric hospital now... the MRI came back negative and there was nothing else we could do...please keep her in prayer, and us in prayer too, we have to make lots of decisions about her health care and she is fighting us(blaming us for all her problems) and doesn't even know why she is where she is, she doesnt know )or remember)how she was acting in the hospital, and thinks we did this to her......desperately need prayer right now:groupray:

So glad to see you posting Tish, I have been worried about you. How are you holding up? Have you and your Dad tried any spiritual intervention? It seems by the tests you said they gave her, it is not biological, which to me leaves one thing. Do you know if anything signifigant happened before this incident that caused her to be hospitalized?

 ~Zayit

She hasn't been on here for five days, I think we should be praying for her too! :pray:thanks everyone for noticing my absence...I could cry right now because of all your love and concern...it is sooooo comforting!

It's true I've been trying to help my mom and dad , alot ....keep praying, my Dad is trying to help my mom and he needs our support more than I even knew...we have to decide how our future can work with them more more apart of it....can I handle such a responsibility? I have always been a supportive daughter (a real good girl even in my teens;))but never a decision maker when it came to them, and my dad is soooo desparate for answers to how to care for mom if she doesnt get better.

Pray that we will not miss ABBA's dirrection for us as I know He is taking care of all our concerns, but being in this turmoil makes it hard to feel his peace.:(
