one thing that would be a valuble tool would probably be customization of colors, so everyone could pick their own colors for each element (background could be burnt orange while the forums could be a light teal...)

You can change colors in your User Control Panel, Options section. :) Just change the style.

The colors are nice but the background still makes me feel like I am in a submarine. When I first changed the color I thought that's what would be changing but alas it was just the headers. The gray is very industrial looking, cold, anyone feel like watching "Down Periscope"? :)

I set it to the purple skin because that is my favorite color.
It does not look very purple to me - mostly blue pigment.
l know purple is made up of red and blue it is much more on the blue end.

one thing that bugs me about the different themes is that sometimes people's text doesn't show up because it clashes or blends in too well. they're nice in theory, but i have to stick with the basics

I didn't answer the poll because of how it's worded. Yes, I've tried them. But, I choose to use the default instead. It is more readable. But it was fun to have the option.

I am dumb I guess, I did not know the colors could be changed for free, lol. I am also color blind, which is very rare for a female. So I guess, I will stay with the default, like whatever that is anyhow... *tee hee* ;)
