The Lord is speaking to me!

Well here I go ;) My hubby and self have sat down and spoken about keeping the Sabbath and also living a more spiritual lifestyle (not that we are party goers or the such you understand!) We have been hands-on Christians for 26 years but feel our spiritual journey has taken a turn (for the better). We've had a rough ride these past twelve years with lots of personal tragedies in our family, losing a father then a son....anyhow, I feel the Lord is calling us to a more spiritual and holier lifestyle. But where do we start? I actually found my 7 branched candlestick yesterday and remembered it came from Jerusalem (I know because my friend Mary bought it whilst on a holiday in Egypt, they did a day trip to Israel). It even has Jerusalem stamped on it! It's only small but it's a start. Can you please advise me where there is a good website to learn from? Thanks for any help you can give.

Thank you for your help and Shabbat Shalom. My ecclesia (I am Apostolic) has given me a really good grounding in Israeli history and we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, we support Jewish charities and a few of our brethren and sisters are of Jewish background, plus we base our beliefs on those of the 1st century believers, I believe my spiritual journey is changing. I want to be more holy and spiritual in my walk before the L-rd. Yeshua cannot be that far away and I want to please G-d by my obedience and way of life. I need a lot of instruction and guidance in this area of Shabbat observance.

I sincerely believe that if your root is in Yeshua, then you are part of the Family of the L-rd (baptism into Yeshua makes us part of the 'seed' and therefore able to inherit the Promises made to Abraham (Gal.3:27-29). We must remain in the 'seed of Yeshua' if we are to receive the promises, baptism is just a beginning, we have entered a race that we must run. I believe that the Hope of Israel should be the Hope of all sincere Christians that is why I am looking to return to my Hebraic roots. I do have Jewish ancestry on my Mother's side but a few generations back. I have had a love of anything Jewish all my life and it would appear that the L-rd is stirring it up in these End Times.
