I love how the Orthodox church uses other languages.

As a choir member I have had to learn the Paschal hymn in English, Greek, Russian and Romanian!

I see that they still don't have the Romanian right (they didn't last year either). The '-' in Romanian is like an apostrophe of omission in English, so it should either be:

'Hristos a īnviat!'

or, more usually:

'Hristos a-nviat!'

but never 'Hristos a-īnviat!' as shown on this site, as that would mean that they are omitting a letter that was never there in the first place. Sorry to be so pedantic.
