It would be great to have a waxing new moon (meaning the crescent growing from the right as you face it) rather than a waning moon. :thumbsup:

Observing the first visible crescent of moon was how the first day of the month was determined in Old Testament times. Some still follow this practice today, Rosh Chodesh is observed every time the new crescent moon is sighted in the skies over Israel. :)
