I just won it in an auction and was wondering if anyone knew anything about it. :)

It looks Celtic in origin, you might want to check with the Anglicans or the Catholics. Maybe someone over there might have more info on it.
It looks like a blend between a "scriptures cross" and a "Kilklispeen Celtic" cross.

It looks Russian to me. The Lord has one nail for each foot, which I believe is distinctly Orthodox, instead of one nail through both feet. And I think that's Slavonic script. Also, the footbar is tilted and there's a skull beneath the Cross.

Maybe...it's a cross of an Irish Jewelery maker lost in Russia. Huh? Huh? Could be! ;)

That's probably it ;) The shape of the Cross itself looks very Celtic. It must be an ecumenical Cross.

The front looks Celtic to me. The knots in the cirlce are a strong indication as well as the general style of the cross. The skull at the foot of the cross would indicate that it is Orthodox. I have rarely seen a Catholic cross with a depiction of Adam at the bottom, and I have never seen one as a skull. But I have not kept careful records ;).
The inscription on the back looks like a Celtic/Gaelic font or style.
Very cool! I wonder what is says.

It's Orthodox--I have seen several Orthodox designs which also make use of the ancient (waaaay pre-schism) Celtic Orthodox design of the cross with the eternal circle.
IC XC means Jesus Christ, and the squiggle above it means that it is an abbreviation.
The sign above Christ's head says "This is the King of the Jews" abbreviated as is traditionally done.
I can't tell what the letters at the top mean--I think they're in Slavonic.
AFAIK, the lettering on the back is the beginning of the Psalm "Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered. Let those who hate Him flee from before His face" in Slavonic, as is traditional.

Thanks, I was wondering what the back said. :)
The auction seller said, "the top Slavic acronym stands for Czar of Light."

King of Light, the Orient from the East...
It really means the King of Glory, which is our title for the Crucified Christ. see this:

Yes. It says 'Tsar' Sveta".
I can't make out what it says on the backside. I think that it says something about the crucifiction itself, but I'm not really sure.
Howmuch did this cross cost? And what are it's dimensions, metric system. :)

This looks like a job for...the Rusmeister!!!
(Leaps out of the phone booth, sword flashing and cape twirling...)
It's Russian, by gum!
It's a prayer from the end of the evening prayers: Prayer to the Cross:
Says: Da Voskresnet Bog, i rastochatsya vrazi Ego, i da bezhat ot litsa Ego nenavidyashii Ego. Yako ischez (aet dym...this is cut off at the bottom)
Translation:
Let God arise and let His enemies be scattered, and let them that hate Him flee from before His face. As smoke vanish (eth)...
Waits for the cries from the crowd such as "Thank you, Rusmeister! You're humble and loveable!" ...

I got it off ebay for $17.99 USD including shipping. It's dimensions are 36 mm x 19 mm. It's 3.3 grams of fine solid pure .925 sterling silver.
There are four more on ebay ( http://cgi.ebay.com/Silver-Cross-Crucifix-Celtic-Pendant-Jesus-Prayer-IC-XC_W0QQitemZ6270354427QQcategoryZ35814QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem ) if your interested. :)

I was just curious. I never buy anything off the internet. But if these items were in a local shop I'd definatly buy some. From the same seller:

Actually, that line was from Underdog (back to the drawingboard! And don't come back until you can say in Shoeshine Boy's simpering voice "All finished, sir!")
